We opened Ippodo Tea, New York, our first street-front store outside Japan, in April 2013. Although by no means a big store, we set our aims high, and are keen to help customers get the most out of Japanese green tea. In addition to selling high-quality Japanese green tea, we provide a take-out service as one way of demonstrating and communicating the variety of flavors that can be produced by varying the way the tea is prepared.
