A sacred sake bottle is a ceramic ritual implement used to hold sake offered to the Shinto altar or gods. The sake is poured into the sacred sake bottle and the mouth of the bottle is decorated with a sacred sake mouth made of auspicious cypress.

Decorating a noshiguchi (wrapping paper) or omikiguchi (sacred sake mouth) during New Year's and at shrines is customary.
