A "suzuri-bako" is a traditional Japanese stationery box used for storing calligraphy tools such as inkstones (suzuri) and brushes. Typically made of wood, they often feature intricate decorative etchings.

“ I found it in Kyoto. I was particularly attracted by the design. If I were to use one myself, I would want to put something important in it, such as a keepsake. It would also be a picturesque display item for the home. “
